This summer, the trendy city of Tel Aviv is embracing it’s 80s vibe for one performance only by the incomparable Tears for Fears. The legendary British pop/rock band that is responsible for many unforgettable hits is coming to the rocking city of Tel Aviv for a single awesome performance!

Originally from Bath, Avon, Tears for Fears was founded in 1981 and was associated at first with the new wave synthesizer bands but later on became a part of mainstream rock and pop and hit international success. During the 80's the band released 3 albums that were a combination of pop, new wave and rock. Their first album from 1983, "The Hurting", reached number one in the UK albums chart and was a platinum-selling album. It included major hits such as "Pale Shelter", "Change", and "Mad World". Their second album, "Songs from the Big Chair", followed the same path and reached number one on the US Billboard 200, getting multi-platinum status in the UK and the US. It contained unforgettable hits such as "Shout", "Head Over Heels" and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" which won the Brit Award for best British single in 1986. Their third successful album "The Seeds of Love" that came out in 1989 included the epic songs "The Seeds of Love", "Sowing Woman in Chains" and many more.

In the early 90's, Curt Smith left the band and Roland Orzabal kept releasing more albums under the name of the band. In 2004 the two went back to working together under the name "Tears for Fears" and released the album "Everybody Loves Happy Ending". Since then, the band has been touring around the world to the delight of their fans

Tears for Fears’ albums and singles were sold in tens of millions of copies and their songs were covered by other artists countless times. Last year the band announced they are working on a new album to be released during 2017. This July they will be gracing the nonstop city of Tel Aviv for the first time with a single performance, guaranteed to be a night to remember.
