Originally known as Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques, Sean Paul was born in Jamaica in 1973. His musical career soared in 2002 with the tremendous success of his second studio album, "Dutty Rock," mainly for the songs "Gimmie The Light" and "Get Busy" Hot 100 chart toppers). Sean Paul has managed to maintain his relevance in the music industry since breaking into fame in the year 2000 until now with a string hits such as Cheap Thrills, Rockabye, No Lie, and Body.
Sean Paul studied at the University of Technology in Jamaica with aspirations for a career in the hotel industry, but his passion for music took over.
